Fun for CAFT’s funds

Over 450 guests attended the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust’s 21st annual ball at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa. Host Andy Ashworth welcomed guests who enjoyed big band music from Wychcraft and close-up magic by Stevie Mandini. It was a wintery themed ball, complete with Alpine snow scene, frosty trees and the chance to pose in Santa’s sleigh. The evening raised an amazing £140,000, enabling the charity to continue its work providing holidays and day visits to their ten acre site in Millington for terminally ill and disabled children from the North West. Guests had the chance to win spectacular prizes including tickets to New York and an 18 carat white gold bracelet. They were reminded why their support is so vital by mum-of-four Suzanne Brooks who gave a heartfelt speech about the work of the charity.
