Over 150 ladies gathered at the Chester Grosvenor Hotel to support Hope House, the children’s hospice, raising £7,000.

The lunch, held on International Women’s Day, was sponsored by Carelink of North Wales and Si Belle of Tarporley, who sponsored the drinks reception. Guests were treated to lunch prepared by the Grosvenor’s Michelin-starred chef Simon Radley and Samantha Murphy entertained with songs made famous by iconic female artists. Following lunch, attendees then browsed showcases presented by various local businesses and were invited on a behind-the-scenes tour of the historic hotel.

Gill Rutherford of Si Belle said: ‘All the guests really enjoyed it; it was a great event raising money for a very worthy cause. We thank all who took the time to come together and support it. The Chester Grosvenor and Hope House did an excellent job.’
