Carolyn, boss of Carolyn Hughes PR, hosted her sixth annual charity lunch at Gusto in Liverpol’s Albert Dock.

The lively bash in aid of Radio City’s Cash for Kids raised almost £20,000. Generous donations from Barclays and Barclaycard helped achieve this sum, along with a raffle and auction offering top prizes including a Liverpool FC corporate hospitality package and a prize of a trip to Manchester including afternoon tea at Manchester House, a meal at Australasia and an overnight stay in the Great John Street Hotel.

Simon Ross of Radio City 2 hosted the event, with a welcome from Herbert Howe, and support from Danielle LLoyd, the Emmerdale actress, Cash for Kids ambassador actor Gillian Kearney. Rebecca Ferguson kindly donated a prize of an acoustic set at a dinner party, which raised £1,300. Danielle LLoyd showed her fun side with cheeky selfie to enter a ‘selfie competition’ which won her a hamper, donated by Kirwans Solicitors, which she promptly gave to her mum, Jackie.
