We are pleased to be able to bring you the 2014 Somerset Life Food & Drink Awards. This year’s awards lunch ceremony will be held at Junction 24 on 1st October.
The Somerset Life Food & Drink Awards are designed to champion, highlight and offer a showcase to the good and the great from the regions food & drink industry including local producers & suppliers, small farming businesses, chefs, restaurants, pubs and hoteliers, and people who care about the countryside and the future of our local environment.
The companies nominated are all voted for by you, our readers. We want to know if you’ve received a fantastic meal at your local pub or have been impressed by the stallholders at your farmers’ market or farm shop. The recognition the awards offer make a fantastic and positive impact to local businesses and there has never been a better time to support your local community.

Our judges look for the quality of the nominations rather than quantity and once entries have closed on Friday 1st August our independent panel of judges will then select three finalists in each category using strict criteria and then our judges will visit each venue and select a winner. All of the finalists will be invited to the prestigious awards ceremony lunch on 1st October where they will find out if they are a winner.
