Local producers, craftspeople and representatives of county businesses were invited to a ‘Celebration of Derbyshire’ showcase in the grounds of Chatsworth House for Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh’s visit to Derbyshire.
Amongst the 20 stalls on Lodge Hill were Holdsworth Chocolates, The Original Buxton Pudding Company, Ooh La La, The Bakewell Brownie Company, Peak Ales, Thornbridge Brewery, The Bakewell Bakery, Bittersweet Chocolates, The Old Cheese Shop at Hartington, Peak Buffalo, Brock & Morten, Chatsworth Farm Shop, Denby Pottery and CW Sellors. Members of the Derbyshire branch of the Dry Stone Walling Association also gave a traditional demonstration.
On arrival at Chatsworth, The Queen was presented with a hamper of Derbyshire produce.
