The Champagne Academy held their annual Northern Dinner in the luxurious setting of the Chester Grosvenor Hotel.

Currently under the presidency of Champagne Pol Roger, represented by Hubert de Billy, the Champagne Academy is made up of 16 of the Finest Grande Marque Champagne houses. Guests at the evening enjoyed a tasting of non-vintage champagnes from each of the sixteen houses, followed by a four course meal created by Simon Radley, executive chef at the hotel. The Michelin starred chef was also presented with an honorary membership of the Champagne Academy for his outstanding menu creations, and is the first chef to receive one.
