RWY has teamed up with local charity Gables Farm to host its first ever dog show. The event will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 25th May, beginning at 11am on the lawn.
Dog owners are invited to enter their dogs into any of nine event classes at just £1 per dog, per class, and rosettes will be given from 1st through to 4th place. All proceeds will be going towards the welfare of the dogs and cats at Gables Farm and there will be a Gables Farm gazebo on the lawn offering further information on the animals at Gables Farm and the process of re-homing.
The dog show classes are:
Prettiest Bitch
Most Handsome Dog
Most Appealing eyes
Friendliest Dog
Best Trick
Best Veteran (over 7 years of age)
Best Child Handler under 14 years of age
Best Fancy dress
Waggiest Tail
There will be also be a championship class for all first place winners after all classes have finished where the ‘Best in Show’ dog will be chosen.
