Gala ball boost children’s charity
More than 130 guests attended a charity gala ball in aid of Jigsaw, the Cumbrian children’s hospice based in Carlisle.
The ball, at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal, raised £3,400. It was organised by Denise and Mark Wilde, of the Wilde Dance School in Kendal.
Mark has been supporting children’s charities since the loss of a friend to childhood leukemia.
