Classic cars come to Cheshire

Celebrating the spirit of special sports cars, visitors were impressed by beautiful vintage vehicles at Cheshire Concours d’Esprit, at Oulton Park, in Little Budworth.

All the cars were specially selected for the occasion. Winners were chosen by an accomplished team of judges from event organisers South Cheshire Raiders, a heritage sports-car touring group.

And even the rain couldn’t dampen the northern spirit. Principal of the Cheshire Concours d’Esprit and founder of South Cheshire Raiders, Tim Gresty, said: ‘I was most impressed when nearly 40 of our selected classic cars turned up, braving the appalling weather for the display and parade laps in front of a rain-soaked crowd.

‘Their drivers are a band of heroes.’
