Cheshire Life staff and advertisers were among guests who enjoyed a retro dining experience aboard one of the country’s most elegant trains.

The Northern Belle left Chester station and travelled a circular route through Liverpool and Shrewsbury before returning to the historic Roman city.

Passengers enjoyed fine food and wines, and were entertained by Casablanca Steps, who played trombone and guitar. Card tricks from magician Lido delighted the onlookers.
