More than £5,000 was raised for the Mayor’s Charity Appeal at a ball in Chorley Town Hall. This year, the appeal was in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice, Home-Start Central Lancashire and Chorley Help the Homeless.
The money was raised through ticket sales and fundraising activities on the night which included an auction, prize draw and tombola.
