On the 28th November, the South West’s leading shopping centre invites shoppers to raise money for charities by wearing a Christmas Jumper!

Drake Circus will be leading the third city wide Christmas Jumper day this year on the November 28 to raise money for it’s four chosen charities: St Luke’s Hospice, Devon Freewheelers, Children’s Hospice South West and Cancer Research UK.

Drake Circus have teamed up with Plymouth’s High Street Champions and The City Centre Company to make the event bigger than ever.

Retail staff and shoppers will be encouraged to raise money for the charities by wearing a Christmas jumper and donating £1 at one of the many collection points around Drake Circus Shopping Centre.

“Christmas Jumper Day is now a much loved part of Christmas here at Drake Circus” said Greg Lumley, Centre Director, Drake Circus shopping Centre. “Our staff and shoppers love to get involved and we are thrilled that once again this year Plymouth City Centre retailers will join us by wearing their jumpers and getting into the festive spirit. This year we will be raising money for four fantastic charities, Children’s Hospice South West, Cancer Research UK, St Lukes Hospice and Devon Freewheelers, with bucket collections around the centre and the city. I have seen some amazing Christmas jumpers hitting the shelves of our stores and Christmas Jumper day is the perfect excuse to pop into the centre to bag a new woolly and get in Christmas Jumper Spirit!”
