money.co.uk has been described as the fifth most visited price comparison site in the UK. Chris Morling launched the business in London thirteen years ago, moving it out to Cirencester a few years later. “It was the classic motivation for coming to the Cotswolds, we wanted our children to grow up in surroundings we loved. We’ve put down roots here and though we have a satellite office in London, Cirencester is now head office,” he said. Fast Track reports that the site has 2.5 million visits a month and achieved profits of £10.7 million in 2013.

Other companies in the region achieving Profit Track 100 status are: Genuine Gemstone Company, the home shopping jewellery retailer based in Worcestershire at No 77, Gloucester-based Advanced Insulation, which manufactures insulation products at No 89, Alliance Medical, the diagnostic imaging services business based at Warwick, at 90 and Thwaites of Leamington Spa, a manufacturer of dumper trucks at 99.
