Past, present and future come together

Clifton Primary School opened its doors to past pupils, old and current members of staff, parents and members of the community to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

The school was open one morning for people to come and look around, and later the PTFA hosted a ball at The Dalmeny Hotel in St Annes.

Head teacher Rachel Legge said: ‘I felt so privileged to be able to organise such a special day in the school’s history. I was honoured to meet the school’s second head teacher Helen Pignatelli and several other staff members from the past that I have heard so many wonderful things about.’
