Clough & Willis, the Bury based law firm, is this week launching its first ever fixed fee service. The new offering is part of the firm’s Family Department and will incorporate a range of packages including; divorces, change of name deeds, parental responsibility agreements and financial consent orders.

All instructions are dealt with by two key senior members of team - partners Lee Marston and Marie Whittaker - who have over 40 years combined experience between them. Both are Accredited Specialists by Resolution which is the national organisation for specialist family law practitioners. The new scheme has been designed to provide transparent and cost effective solutions to help clients budget and plan.

Lee Marston – partner in the Family Department – said: “As a firm, we try to be responsive to the needs of our clients. We know times are tough and family legal matters cause real stress so we hope the new fixed fee scheme will make things just that bit easier. Our aim is to make legal matters as simple and straight forward as possible and this launch is a reflection of that.”

Shefali Talukdar – managing partner – added: “More often than not, clients can be confused and daunted by complex fee structures. This isn’t good for anyone and we want the new fixed fee scheme to eliminate those issues so people know how much something’s going to cost right from the start. To us, it’s all about being open and providing the best possible service.”
