Wincanton Racecourse are staging the second Combat Stress Families and Armed Forces Raceday on Sunday 23rd October

Wincanton Racecourse, part of The Jockey Club Group are staging the second Combat Stress Families and Armed Forces Raceday on Sunday 23rd October, which is also half term.

Families will be able to enjoy an action packed day of top class jump racing and plenty of entertainment including a Superheroes fancy dress competition. The Course Enclosure will be transformed into a playground provided by Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park, for little Superheroes with loads of FREE adventurous activities for the family to get involved in between the thrilling racing. Wincanton Racecourse has a host of food and drinks outlets with offers suitable for all the family.

Gates open 11am - 4.45pm. First race 1.40pm

The generous support of those who attended the first fund raising day in 2014 helped to raise just over £50,000 for Combat Stress, the Veterans’ Mental Health Charity.
