Coultons-was established in 1985 after Sunblest bread closed their bakery in Liverpool. Howard Hunter owner of Quayside Bakery in Manchester bought the company in 2004. Now established as the largest bakery distribution service in Lancashire and Merseyside , Coultons/Quayside, with over 1000 customers, delivers 6 days a week to a wide variety of businesses throughout Greater Manchester.
Product Range - Coultons/Quayside supply a large range of sliced bread from all the major bakeries as well as our own brand Bakestone, a wide variety of morning goods, rolls and confectionery products from smaller, local bakers. Our product list is extensive (currently over 800 products), from small individual rolls to larger packs of barms, baps and burgers, with all shapes & sizes of plain or seeded bread-roll products in between! We also sell a complete range of hotplate goods, potato cakes, crumpets etc. as well as an extensive range of individually wrapped cakes, flapjacks and muffins.
Deliveries - are based on our customers’ requirements and are tailored to suit the size and individual requirements of the establishments concerned. Some customers require deliveries once or twice a week, whilst larger companies will require a daily delivery service. Time of delivery is also an important factor for many of our customers and we do our utmost to accommodate their requirements as much as we possibly can.
We deliver our products to a wide variety of catering establishments from small independent shops, cafes, hotels and schools to major catering organizations throughout our distribution area. We also have a network of agents throughout the area who deliver to many independent retail, hotel and café establishments.
