Deans Place, situated in the heart of the South Downs, is in an idyllic location to appreciate some of the finest dining Sussex has to offer. The contemporary British cuisine, created by Brighton born Head Chef Stuart Dunley, has again been awarded 2 AA Rosettes, an accolade held since 2010. The team of chefs make great use of local produce when available, with fish caught off the coast of Newhaven, tender beef from Hellingly and apples from the hotel’s own garden. All dietary requirements can be catered for, with particular thought for vegetarians, where the team have developed a stunning vegan & vegetarian menu which runs alongside the seasonal à la carte menu. The Restaurant is elegantly decorated with candlelit tables and crisp white linen. A sophisticated wine list compliments the menu wonderfully. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive whilst remaining professional and unobtrusive.
