On the back of his recent award at the Institute of Couriers for the Ex-Armed forces category, Paul Latham, owner of Diamond Logistics Derby is looking forward to his first Christmas deliveries.
As Paul says, ‘Diamond Logistics Derby opened in February 2014 with one core aim to provide customers with a locally backed same day, overnight and international courier service. We have been rapidly expanding and have brought on a number of new accounts who really value the difference a really good courier makes’.
Diamond offers local and national clients three main services to incorporate all their logistical needs – from same day courier, to overnight and international consignments to an actual warehouse service – a bespoke pick, pack and despatch solution for mainly online based clients.

So what made Paul choose the logistics sector? ‘I was nearing the end of my time in the forces and I was looking for a new challenge. I also really wanted to apply the skills that I had learnt in the army, including planning, project management, logistics, communication, training, development and of course, driving!
Knowing that I’m part of a dynamic and fast growing network is a great motivator and tremendously exciting’. Paul has also recruited Warren Lewis who is working on Business Development and in the increasingly busy operations plus two drivers as his business continues to grow.
