The countdown to Christmas has started so it's time to schedule in those family days out where you can create happy festive memories, right on your doorstep. The Quedam Shopping Centre, in the heart of Yeovil has risen to the occasion and not only installed some furniture that even Santa's Elves would be impressed with but published a whole host of events with Christmas cheer! Here are a few of our favourite things…

1.Back for the winter, Hamish the Polar Bear is chilling at the top of the Quedam outside Topshop and USC Fashion. Hamish (named by local competition winner Hannah Dunston and her two year old daughter Olivia after the cub that was born in Scotland) is around until the 6th January to take a seat and have your photo taken, he's super friendly and extremely photogenic!
