A charity evening was held at Hurltson Hall Golf Club to raise money for Breast Cancer Research and Queens Court Hospice. Organised by Belinda Lyons, whose sister Donna Grundy passed away eight weeks after being diagnosed with breast cancer, the evening was attended by 145 guests and raised £8,000 for both charities.
Auction prizes were donated by local businesses and friends, and included a signed LFC shirt and footballs and a weekend in Barcelona. Guests enjoyed a buffet and entertainment was provided by Rod Stewart tribute act, Des Marine.
Belinda said: ‘We had an amazing night with family and friends. It was so successful I’m already planning for next year!’
