For this reason, harnessing the expertise of hosting awards garnered from our large stable of sister magazines across Britain, this year we are holding our inaugural Dorset Magazine Food, Drink & Farming Awards. It is a wonderful opportunity for you to tell us about the food, drink and farming heroes you think deserve recognition for the outstanding contribution they make in Dorset. These new awards are designed to showcase the great and the good in Dorset, and reward the hardworking people behind them, including suppliers and producers, small farming businesses, chefs, restaurants, pubs and hoteliers. Tell us about an outstanding meal at your local pub or an inspirational stallholder at your farmers’ market. Love your local baker or butcher? Whose Dorset cream tea is the scrummiest? Simply fill in a nomination form, available in the July and August issues of Dorset Magazine or vote online at dorsetawards.greatbritishlife.co.uk. The closing date is Monday 1 September 2014. Don’t forget to shout about your business by getting your customers and visitors to nominate you.
