Annual event raises £29,000
Guests gathered at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel in Clayton-le-Moors for the annual Oh What A Night! Ball, hosted by East Lancashire Hospice.
The fundraiser, which was attended by 280 people, was sponsored by the Cardboard Box Company and featured entertainment from Britain’s Got Talent singer, Sue Moretta.
The evening raised £29,000 for the hospice from ticket sales and auction on the night.
Sharon Crymble, fundraising manager, said: ‘We think everyone will agree that it was a night to remember. Everyone has helped to raise an incredible amount of money for the hospice, which will help to fund the services for patients and their loved ones when they need it most.’
