FALMOUTH OYSTER FESTIVAL AT ST MICHAEL'S HOTEL AND SPA
Falmouth Oyster Festival organisers are extremely pleased to confirm St Michael’s Hotel and Spa is once again the headline sponsor of the 2016 festival, which takes place from 13th to 16th October.
“St Michael’s Hotel and Spa are a great supporter of the festival and have become over the last few years an integral part of the event, we thank them for their support and look forward to working together again this year” said Mike Rangecroft from Falmouth Festivals Ltd.
One of Falmouth’s best luxury four-star hotels, St Michael’s Hotel and Spa is set amongst stunning sub-tropical gardens and boasts an award winning restaurant and luxury spa. The hotel has supported the festival for a number of years and is a major contributor to its continuing success.
Nigel Carpenter, Proprietor, St Michael’s Hotel and Spa said “St Michael’s is delighted to continue to sponsor the festival for its 20th anniversary year. The festival has become a must for all oyster, seafood and maritime heritage enthusiasts, and with an ever-expanding range of mouth-watering Cornish food and drink on offer and a great entertainment programme, it’s easy to see why.”

The new state of the art Health Club will accommodate up to 2500 members and include a 3 story urban style’ gym, 3 studios dedicated to spinning, holistic and fitness classes, a large 17m pool, treatment rooms, plus an array of other facilities. St Michael’s popular Spa will become dedicated to treatments and relaxation with 7 new en-suite treatment rooms including a Due Rasul Mud and flotation experience room, hydrotherapy pools, new steam and sauna cabins, relaxation areas in an extended pool conservatory, spa gardens and a spa café.
At the Festival, St Michael’s Hotel and Spa will run the Oyster and Seafood Bar in the main marquee offering a range of locally sourced seafood dishes and freshly shucked oysters for visitors. At the helm will be St Michael’s Head Chef, sharing their culinary secrets and love of Cornish seafood and fresh produce at Saturday afternoon’s chef demonstration.
