Four charities have benefitted from money raised at the recent Fylde Mayor, councillor Peter Hardy’s, charity ball.
Held at the Woodland Suite at Ribby Hall, Wrea Green, more than 180 people attended including mayors and mayoresses from other Lancashire councils. MC for the evening was the Fylde Mayor’s son, singer Bruce McLaren.
Peter Hardy said: ‘People were so generous in donating items for the tombola and silent auction. Approximately £4,000 was raised and will be split between Barnardo’s, Fylde CAB, Kirkham Rural Splash and Fylde Scouts and Guides which do great work in the area.’
