More than £18,00 was raised for the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust

The Lancashire branch of the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, led by chairman Nick Mason of Davis and Bowring, held their annual dinner and auction at the beautiful country setting of the Inn at Whitewell.

A record number of guests enjoyed the grouse shooting simulator competition kindly organised by BASC, a delicious game dinner followed by an inspiring talk from Sir Jim Paice, former minister for agriculture and chairman of the GWCT Allerton Project at Loddington. The evening, sponsored by Savills and Brabners, was rounded off with an exciting auction conducted by Henry Bowring.

More than £18,00 was raised towards the work of the GWCT, a scientific research organisation dedicated to conserving game and other wildlife for the benefit of future generations.
