Members of Gathurst Golf Club staged a highly successful ball as part of a year-long celebration marking the club’s centenery year.
Back in 1913 four residents of Shevington, near Wigan, founded the club and it has gone from strength to strength with a full membership, a lively social scene and regular charitable activities, particularly in support of Wigan Hospice.
