For over 75 years George Banks Jewellers has been home to the North west’s most beautiful collection of diamond jewellery and fine Swiss watches.

Opened by George Banks in 1935, we are a third-generation family owned jewellers who strive to work by his philosophy: To create a relaxed, friendly place to shop for high quality items. George Banks conjures thoughts of quality, tradition and of a warm welcome. We specialise in bespoke diamond jewellery. Made to your specifications, we aim to provide a prompt, flexible service for any occasion.

The quality of our materials and the craftsmen we employ to create your dream jewellery are second to none. We also offer a wide range of timepieces from some of Switzerland’s most prestigious watch-houses; Breitling, Omega, Longines and Rado. We are also pleased to present brands such as Pandora charm bracelets, Molly Brown silver jewellery, Moorcroft pottery and Mont Blanc writing instruments to complete our selection of luxury goods.

The first floor of our flagship store on Preston’s Fishergate high street is home to our Wedding Room. Up and away from the bustle of the street, we have created a peaceful, inviting space in which you and your loved one can view the Northwest’s best collection of wedding rings from the UK and Europe’s premier suppliers including Brown & Newirth London and Switzerland’s Furrer Jacot. Our wedding ring range is impressive, but it is just the start of what we can do to make your wedding day perfect. As with our Diamond collection, the true strength of the Wedding Room is our flexibility in creating original pieces to your bespoke requirements.

Whether you are looking for the treat you promised to yourself, or for the perfect gift for your loved one, or for the most significant jewellery purchase of your life, George Banks Jewellers will help. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always on hand to welcome and advise you so you can be sure you’ve made the right choice.
