London and Cheltenham-based epi Consulting have won a prestigious, global Procurement Leaders Award in the category of ‘Best Procurement Service Provider’ at the annual Procurement Leaders Awards ceremony held in London on Tuesday evening.
Working with clients to reduce their carbon emissions through re-structuring their supply chains and innovating their production processes, epi deliver increased efficiency and the integration of sustainable business solutions for a range of clients in different industry sectors.
Recent work has focused on collaboration with BT to establish and manage their very successful Better Future Supplier Forum where key suppliers work towards the integration of more sustainable business solutions. With epi Consulting’s guidance, BT’s participant suppliers have delivered operational carbon savings of over 25,000 tonnes CO2 per annum, annual saving over £3.4m, reduction of solid waste by 15%, total energy consumption by 5% and total water consumption by 7%.
