Returning for its fourth year on July 17-19, Gloucester Quays Food Festival 2015 promises to be bigger and better than ever before!

On the Friday of the festival, acclaimed chefs from the Cotswolds’ will be taking some of Gloucester Rugby’s players past and present and attempting to turn them into culinary masters.

Saturday sees the return of Bake-off’s Paul Hollywood, baking live and sharing tricks of the trade with lots of laughs and audience participation thrown in to the mix.

And on Sunday it’s all about the next generation of cooks, growers and bakers, as Cbeebies star Katy Ashworth and Ben Faulks as Mr Bloom will have the youngsters singing, dancing and learning how to become little chefs and healthy eaters!

Paul Hollywood, Katy Ashworth and Mr Bloom will all be signing books and posing for pictures with fans at designated times throughout the day they are appearing on.

And, as you’d expect at a foodie event, there will be a huge range of great stalls offering artisan food and drink to try and buy, plus cookware and cooking accessories, crafts, jewellery and lots more. Meet the producers, sample their wares and go home laden with fine food, drink and gifts that you won’t find on the high street.

Kids will be entertained with the return of the free hands-on cooking activities for children at the ‘Kids Cookery School’, located in a special kids’ cookery marquee in Pillar and Lucy Square. Sessions can be booked on the day at the Food Festival.

There will also be an authentic 1967 Routemaster, now converted into a funky double decker bar, with lawn seating in a waterfront setting and music courtesy of festival DJs, plus street entertainment and circus shows through the day.

Live music from local bands can be enjoyed on the main lawn where visitors will be tucking into delicious food-to-go, cocktails, cold beer, real ale and cider.
