Comedians Little and Large staged an impromptu reunion to support a charity set up in memory of a a young boy from Lancashire called Sam, who suffered severe medical problems.
His mum, Carla Ronson, set up Sam’s Place, an organisation raising £400,000 to to buy a fully adapted lodge at Ribby Hall to allow respite care for terminally ill children and their families.
The ‘Goalden Girls’ ball was held at the Euston Hotel, Fleetwood, on what would have been Sam’s 18th birthday. Among the special events that night, there was a charity auction run by Mark Stacey, of the BBC antiques show Flog It!
