Hampshire Life guests enjoy lunch in the forest

Guests of Hampshire Life recently enjoyed a lunch at the Balmer Lawn hotel for the Hampshire Life Food & Drink Awards pre-launch

To celebrate the pre-launch of the Hampshire Life Food & Drink Awards for 2014, we invited guests and judges for a three course lunch at the Balmer Lawn hotel. Built originally in the mid 1800’s as a hunting lodge, the Balmer Lawn is an iconic four star Country House Hotel and Spa set in the very heart of the New Forest National Park. With an emphasis on comfort and great service, the hotel’s tasteful blend of contemporary and traditional ensures the perfect combination of old fashioned values with a modern twist. Guests were treated to a viewing of the hotel’s excellent facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and squash courts and the new Saltus Spa. The Balmer Lawn is the perfect destination for romantic escapes, relaxing getaways, family holidays (including the dog) or corporate events.
