Hanna Miraftab is packing plenty into the days before filming for The Real Housewives of Cheshire starts again

Between running our businesses and preparing for our wedding day, for Martin and I it can sometimes be difficult to squeeze in some quality time together. Before our schedules became even more hectic with filming for the next series of The Real Housewives of Cheshire we were fortunate enough to go on a couple of exciting trips! One of my close friends Louisa - and her now husband Dominic - invited us to the most incredible wedding on Italy's Amalfi Coast. The reception was held at a cliff-top villa nestled between vineyards with stunning scenic views, a picturesque setting for the newly married couple.

A week later we packed our bags and were off to Palma. Martin has a busy clinic there he regularly visits, but this time we used the work opportunity as a mini break for us too. We stayed at the Lindner Golf and Wellness Resort in Portals, which meant that while Martin visited his clinic, I found some time to indulge in some much needed R&R. We spent time wandering around the Old Town taking in the Spanish culture and in the evenings walked along Portals marina. There's a beautiful restaurant that we like to visit overlooking the yachts. It's moments like this that make all of our hard work so worthwhile.

Two months to go!

Getting back from Dom and Lou's wedding has really made me realise that ours is only around the corner! And after being away on two sunny trips, I thought it was time to start focusing on my personal wedding prep. I want to make sure my skin is looking hydrated and plumped, so I treated myself to a course of Dermalux treatments at Martin's clinic, Re-enhance, and it's really helped with the redness from the sun. I've got a few more appointments booked in and then hopefully my skin will be wedding ready.

National Smile Month

With the school holidays in full swing, it's so important to raise awareness of children's oral health, something that I'm very passionate about. We hosted an open day at Kiln Lane Dental, teaching children how to take care of their teeth, while also having a bit of fun too. Nothing makes my job more enjoyable than working with kids, but hopefully because of days like this, I'll be seeing my younger patients less often. It's ok to have the odd sweet treat, but we need to make sure we're all being sugar and snack smart.

Foodie fun

Everybody who knows me knows just how much I love getting glammed up and going out socialising. In fact, I think we spend more time out and about than we spend together at home! In July we attended Cheshire Life's annual black tie Food and Drink Awards and had such a great evening. We both love our food, so it was amazing to see so many familiar faces from around Cheshire - and they were all very deserving winners.
