Author and politician Lord Michael Dobbs led a fundraising dinner in support of Harrogate International Festivals and its Future 50 campaign.
The dinner was held at Rudding Park, Harrogate. Each year HIF, which is 50 this year, delivers over 300 distinct events and attracts more than 90,000 people to its activities. Authors, broadcasters, musicians and philanthropists including Lee Child, Julian Lloyd Webber, Liz and Dr Terry Bramall, the Earl of Harewood and broadcaster Mark Lawson, have become Future 50 vice presidents to promote the charity’s drive to raise £1millon.
