More than 65,000 people are expected to flock to the Malvern Autumn Show at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, for this annual celebration of harvest fun and family entertainment.

Diana Walton, Head of Shows at Three Counties, said: “This is my first Malvern Autumn Show as Head and I’ve tried to create an all inclusive celebration of the season that has something for everyone. Walking around the Showground last year I talked to visitors about their experiences and was blown away by how particularly fond they are of this show, it was a joy to hear. We champion gardening, growing, gathering and rural life with a little slice of our country’s quirky character for good measure. It’s the perfect way to end our show season.”

Headlining the Food and Drink Pavilion on Saturday is the charismatic Great British Menu host, Andi Oliver with Sunday welcoming everyone’s favourite laid-back Great British Baker, Selasi Gbormittah. He’ll be sharing top tips on how to avoid soggy bottoms and ensure every creation is a showstopper. Show favourite, award winning author and grower, Mark Diacono returns to host the Cookery Theatre that welcomes demonstrations from the Raymond Blanc Cookery School alongside local chefs and food producers.

Former Tomorrow’s World presenter and previous President of the Herb Society, Judith Hann will be sharing tips from her brand new book and celebrity florist, Jonathan Moseley champions British flowers and floristry in the Autumn Floral Fiesta.

Other highlights include: family fun on the Family Green with activities for both the young and young at heart. The Vintage Village features the Old Tyme Fairground and the World of Animals showcases all different types of rabbits, guinea pigs and poultry as well as the Young Pig of the Year competition. There is a record breaking 1,500 entries in the Grow to Show section in the Harvest Pavilion and over 80 specialist award-winning nurseries to choose from in the Plant Village and last major RHS Flower Show of the season, offering the final opportunity to buy plants to bed in before the bad weather returns.

Finally the CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championship returns with a whopping 29 different classes including two junior classes. 2016 saw four World Records broken.
