Strictly Comes Dancing was the theme of a highly successful ball staged by family, friends and staff at the Hillside Specialist School for Autism based in Longridge.

It is the only school in Lancashire for children with autism and pupils aged three to 16 travel from across the county to attend. The ball, at The Marriott in Preston, was organised by the PSFA - parents, carers, staff and friends - and the annual event makes a valuable contribution to fundraising for the school. In the past the PSFA has provided minibuses, sensory toys and refurbished the outdoor play area.
