Pink Sky, a Cheltenham-based brand communication agency, recently held a live brief day with year 2 and 3 Illustration students at the University of Gloucestershire
Students were set a challenging brief to complete in one day, with an incentive of an iPad Air to the student who most closely followed the brief. They were asked to design a traditional Spanish-style poster with the theme ‘Fiesta De Picotas’. Pink Sky works with the Spanish Government to promote Picota cherries throughout the UK and wanted to work with the students help them gain an insight into the reality of working with clients, and also to see how the ‘Fiesta’ theme could be illustrated.
The posters that were created in the day were of a very high quality. Selecting a winner was difficult, but eventually Liam Fuller’s poster was chosen.
