Once upon a time there was a frustrated shopper who had always been able to get clothes to fit and look stylish. However, a point in her life arrived when she realised her proportions had changed; no longer needed corporate clothes and generally felt as though she had lost her way in what to wear.
She needed help quickly, but could not find anything really exciting on the high street, so a new idea came to her rescue - Niche opened in Shipston on Stour 10 years ago to help people just like our frustrated shopper.
The shapes and designs are both stylish and easy enough to create an individual look, whether the outfit is for a party, lunch, shopping or just ‘hanging out’. The ranges vary from great fitting jeans to beautiful cashmere; comfortable pull on trousers to more tailored shapes; deconstructed styles; great white shirts, sweaters and tops.
Our clients return to us because they enjoy the experience of finding the right piece or pieces for their needs and leave knowing that what they have bought really suits their proportions and lifestyle needs.
Whilst we don’t cater specifically for the traditional ‘Mother of the Bride’, we do have ranges which can be put together to make an amazing look for you.
To complete an outfit or to update an existing outfit, we have an extensive range of scarves and jewellery available.
To ensure that you are comfortable in Niche, we have large fittings rooms, with plenty of mirrors. Our staff have all been trained to help you select shapes and proportions which are right for you regardless of age, size and height. If, however, you prefer to be left alone, you are able to browse through our extensive stock and choose your own look.
After you have spent sometime looking through our exciting stock and trying on outfits, Shipston on Stour is worth a visit. We are in the heart of the town on Sheep Street and there are many interesting independent shops, including tea rooms, delis, a gallery, clock shop, florists, a very interesting furniture chapel, gift and card shops for you to browse around. Free parking is available and altogether this little market town nestling on the edge of the Cotswolds is one of England’s little gems.
