The first ever Weston Colour Run took place on Sunday 27 April, raising £40,000
A massive 1500 walkers and runners swarmed onto Uphill beach near Weston-super-Mare to take part in the Weston Colour Run, raising £40,000 and securing the future of the event.
Dressed in white and accessorised with neon tutus, sweat bands, leg warmers and sunglasses, 1,500 people ran a 5k or 10k route whilst being showered in clouds of multi-coloured paint.
There was a team of bananas, a storm trooper and a few multi-coloured pooches who joined the masses for the route along the beach.
