Liverpool footballer James Milner hosted his annual charity ball at Event City, Manchester, with a ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ theme.
The former MCFC player welcomed over 500 guests including footballing friends Daniel Sturridge, Joe Hart, Aleksander Kolarov and Joleon Lescott, who were all greeted by a gargoyle, zombies and horsemen on stilts. The occasion was compèred by Kym Marsh and Jonny Gould. Auction and raffle prizes included a new Corsa and the chance to be a Liverpool Football Club mascot. Over £95,000 was raised for the James Milner Foundation which supports Help for Heroes, Bloodwise and NSPCC. Entertainment was provided by Diversity, Scouting for Girls, Jason Manford and Lawson.
