The ‘Jenny Wren’ is a small bird with a remarkably loud voice – so it’s no surprise that Jenny Wren Productions is a small theatre company with a remarkably big talent.

Gloucestershire-based, Jenny Wren takes its summer productions on a round of open-air venues. And this year, it’s Twelfth Night that’s getting the treatment.

In an action-packed evening, the company promises, “a sojourn involving everything you’d expect from a group of actors – cross-dressing, a couple of fights and some drunken revels. Throw in a shipwreck, much unrequited love and a classic case of mistaken identity and your entertainment is complete.”

This small cast will be working its yellow cross-gartered stockings off to play all the characters between them. A little bird tells us this is a production not to be missed:
