Celebrating the art of The Queen’s School and Jolliffes

A fantastic evening celebrating the skill in both the art and the business world was held by Jolliffes Solicitors and The Queen’s School, Chester. For The Queen’s School, the art exhibition showcased the breadth and depth of talent emerging from its students, both past and present, telling some of the stories of the girls’ work and career paths. For Jolliffes, it was an opportunity to talk about the art of law. More than 70 guests attended the event and, amid the art, were treated to canapés and refreshments. Co-organiser and managing director of Marketing PRojects Jane Harrad-Roberts said: “Everyone really appreciated the time and effort that went into the event and was in total admiration of the talent celebrated there. There was such a lovely ambience.” Exhibitors at the event included Chloe Hughes, a director, creative and illustrator who established Babe U Ok?, a blog that discusses mental health, relationships and negotiating being an adolescent, and Kara Chin, who in recent years has won the prestigious Woon Foundation in Art and Sculpture, plus a £20,000 fellowship, including a year’s studio space, mentoring and a final exhibition and catalogue.
