The newly refurbished Tickled Trout played host to a lunchtime gathering of Lancashire Business Awards nominees, giving them the opportunity to meet the competition. Over 40 Downtown Lancashire in Business members and associates posed with their rivals in front of the camera in advance of November’s annual Awards Dinner.
The awards, which honour the most successful entrepreneurs and high growth companies from across Lancashire, take place on the evening of Thursday 7th November at the spectacular Stanley House Hotel.
Robin Ford, General Manager of the Tickled Trout, themselves a nominee for the Best Hotel Award said ‘We are delighted to have been nominated for the Lancashire Business Awards, the calibre of this year’s nominees is remarkable and we wish them all the best of luck.’ Downtown Lancashire’s Chief Executive, Frank McKenna commented ‘Every year the awards attract some of the region’s most influential guests, and this year is no exception. Fortunately I am never told who the winners are because my team at Downtown know I can’t keep my mouth shut. Today’s lunch has been a tremendous success and it is great to see such a fantastic turnout of nominees’.
