Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School and Lancaster Royal Grammar School join forces to aid charity

TICKET sales from a prom for the year 11 students at Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School and Lancaster Royal Grammar School helped raise money for Team Reece, a charity for childhood cancer.

It was set up by Reece Holt, who suffered a brain tumour last year and he is still undergoing treatment. Reece is due to start at LRGS this month.

The sparkling event, organised by Laura Walker and Aimee Banks, was held at Lancaster House Hotel and attended by 165 pupils.

They had a red carpet entrance with a welcome ‘mocktail’ before entering the function room, which was dressed in ivory and gold with ceiling fairy lights.
