Celebrating 5 years on the farm with an incredible line-up of food, music and family fun

Following last year’s sell-out event, the UK’s much-loved music, food and family festival The Big Feastival, proudly presented by NEFF, returns to its stunning Cotswolds home from 26 – 28 August 2016. Celebrating its 5th birthday on Alex James’ farm, Feastival-goers can expect a bank holiday bonanza with the festival’s biggest and best line-up of food and music to date.

The music acts gracing this year’s line-up are Uptown Funk superstar Mark Ronson (DJ set), as well as the Kaiser Chiefs and DJ Fresh. Other artists set to appear include Mercury Prize nominee Roisin Murphy, Ella Henderson and Grammy Award-winner Foxes, who will be performing her unique style of experimental pop to the crowds. A very special guest headliner is still to be announced.

After working up an appetite on the dance floor, festival-goers can delve into new depths of gastronomic delights as The Big Feastival presents an award-winning line up of street food stars. Highlights include; previous British Street Food Awards winners of ‘Best Burger’ Original Patty Men and ‘Best Sandwich’ The Cauldron, pop-up maestros Le Bun and Time Out’s Number One Street Food trader Le Swine. With brand new dining experiences still to be announced, there will be something on the menu for everyone this year.

Alex James said: “Each year the festival just gets better and with 2016 marking our fifth birthday on the farm; it promises to be the best year yet. Last year’s tickets sold out in record time and I predict this year to be no different so get in early!”

Co-host Jamie Oliver added: “The Big Feastival is one of my favourite weekends of the year - no other festival combines amazing music and incredible food in such a unique way and this year’s stellar line-up makes it unmissable!”

There’s more foodie-fun to be had in the NEFF Big Kitchen, where there will be live cooking demonstrations from some of the world’s best chefs including the main man himself Jamie Oliver, Michelin Star masters Raymond Blanc and Tom Kerridge, bestselling author Gizzi Erskine, as well as award-winning restaurateurs Thomasina Miers and José Pizarro showcasing their culinary talents.

Visitors don’t just have to watch either, with a whole host of hands-on foodie activities to get involved with over the weekend including talks and tastings, food and drink master classes and interactive Cookery Schools.

For the little ones, this year’s Big Feastival will see performances from TV favourites and a jam-packed programme of fun and games for all the family, including:

• Cbeebies Superstar Justin Fletcher;

• The legendary Dick and Dom;

• X Factor stars Reggie N Bollie;

• The Family Olympics; and

• The return of Little Dudes’ Den
