The wine was flowing at Tanners Wines in Chester, one of the longest established wine merchants in the UK, for the Lord’s Taverners’ wine tasting charity event

. The evening, organised by Howard and Lesley Greenwood was in aid of the Lord's Taverners charity, the leading UK's youth sports charity, which supports marginalised and at risk young people through sport and recreation, and raising funds for specialised sports equipment.

Guests, including the Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Chester, enjoyed a variety of European cheeses that were served to complement the six different, delicious wines, presented by Tanners' experts. The Taverners' Chairman, Paul Walker, addressed guests, thanking everyone for their support and explaining the work the charity does.
