Harrogate’s landmark hotel, the DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa celebrated its official opening in dazzling style.
Hosted by owners, the Handa Family, Cairn Hotel Group and hotel General Manager, Matthew Hole, the event marked the culmination of a £15m refurbishment programme. The184-bedroom venue, iconic in the spa town, has undergone a comprehensive overhaul and is now home to Frederick's Bar and Piano Lounge, as well as Carter's Champagne Bar and Grill, a destination restaurant in the old ballroom. The icing on the cake will be the official opening of The Harrogate Spa, which has transformed the hotel's former leisure club into a glamorous destination spa.
