Floral styles dating from 1961 to the present day formed the centre piece of a charity evening staged by Margaret Mason at her new Flower Barn in Hillock Lane, Warton.
Margaret, whose business is called Mason Kirby, produced examples of how the flower industry had changed over the years. Each era was modelled, displayed and presented by Miss Preston, Miss Lancashire and Miss Cumbria and by eight models plus flower girl, six-year-old Mia.
The evening raised in excess of £3,000 for Brian House Children’s Hospice and Leukemia Care. Included in the total was a gift from family and friends in memory of the late Raman Bhai Patel.
