Matara, a social enterprise nearing its 20th anniversary, has been hosting a series of ‘Supper and Conversation’ evenings at their pop-up cafe. Their December 12 event will feature Rob Rees, The Cotswold Chef, in support of charity campaign No Child Hungry Gloucestershire.

The ‘Supper and Conversation’ events have featured live local music, dancing, interactive entertainment, conversation, plenty of organic food and the opportunity to support and learn more about worthwhile causes. They are intended to inspire positive thoughts, celebrate life and create unique, memorable experiences.

On Friday December 12, Matara will host Rob Rees MBE, The Cotswold Chef In Conversation - in support of the No Child Hungry Gloucestershire campaign. Rob Rees will discuss his work with the Wiggly Worm Charity, and the conversation will touch on how local producers can use surplus food to feed the hungry. There will be a ‘street food’ feast prepared by Mahlon of the Matara Kitchen, local folk music, fundraising opportunities and an inspiring bunch of people.
