The Lancastrian Suite at Chorley Town Hall was the venue for a gala for the mayor, Coun John Walker.
An auction and raffle raised £2,270 for his charities, Derian House and The Alzheimer’s Society.
Hosted by comedian Dave Spikey, guests were entertained by Doug Perkins and the Spectaculars, comedians and radio presenters Steve Royle and Ted Robbins and musicians Fran Smith and Jon Brindley. The Mayor said: ‘I’d like to thank everyone and hope they enjoyed the evening as much as the Mayoress and I did.’
